Yes, we may have said we would stay but after a week + we decided the server was in no way going to survive!

PUGS were nowhere to be seen and with the free migration to Bladefist, we decided to do some research. Taylia ran a census data at random intervals on AA and did not see over 900 people online for the alliance at any time. Less than 60% of the characters online are level 80. Hence problems with PUGS!

I also checked out the Euro formums and read up abit and it seemed like Bladefist was simular to AA.

Hopefully we will like our new home, our old one had so many memories, but PK need to look to the future and AA was nolonger in our sights.

We have reverted to our original name 'The Pandion Knights' and hope this is the right move!

Despite all the drama on the server and the rushed debate within ourselves PK is staying on Al'Akir.

We can understand the desire to move to another server but tonight had already proved that things have gotten better on good old Al'Akir. The queues had all but disappeared and I am sure that with the additional players that left last minute it will be even easier to log in tonight. The lag, so famous in Dalaran, had cleared up and at 9pm there was none to be found.

Whilst we wish all those that have left for one reason or another all the best and good luck with their future raiding, PK is going to make a stand here on Al'Akir.

There will be some uncertain times ahead but we are going to recruit hard, raid as often as we can and continue to maintain the relaxed, no stress, no forced commitment way we always have.

Yes, you read it right. A 9/10 guild group (thanks to Druid, Disco for coming along) managed to battle their way through the queue and fought off the lag in Dalaran to assemble at the entrance to Ice Crown. A good raid was had by all and with the exception of a few wipes on the last boss it was a clean run. Grats to all who got items and thanks to all that came. We will be continuing this run next week in all liklihood and trying our hand at the second wing.

Word of warning though, beware of the dogs!

You will have all seen it by now but queues to get into Al'Akir are getting very large indeed. Last night saw queues go over 1500 and wait times exceed 90 minutes. For now this means that raiding is going to be very hard as people will simply not get online in time and will probably stop waiting long before they get close to getting in.

Do not just give up on PK though. To keep spirits up you will find most of us playing other games whilst we wait for a resolution to the problem from Blizzard, the queues to disappear or for Star Wars: The Old Republic to be released.

So, those of you that have League of Legends, Company of Heroes, Call of Duty 4, Aion or indeed other games keep and eye out for many of us playing those games. Use Team Speak or the forums to organise games or to find people that are playing.

Don't let the new year queues get you down and join us in another game.

Fantastic attendance this week saw us take PK only groups to ToTC; with Weds being the 25-man and Thurs with 2 x 10-man groups.
